The "Controller to Go" assembly contains all the features required for microprocessor control of industrial and laboratory rack mountable instrumentation. Designed to mount behind the front panel of a 2U or higher 19" rack mount unit, the controller has a rotary encoder and connections for a complementary seven switch keyboard and an LCD display module. Mechanical integration into a user's design is easy as all necessary documentation is supplied. 

The controller has built in support for program development and debugging. Low level drivers and sample programs are provided, enabling application development right out of the box. External user control interfaces include RS232 and advanced serial in addition to optically isolated and non-isolated analog and digital I/O's.

Memory upgrades

The flash memory enables firmware upgrades over the RS232 port, while the socketed EPROM

allows trouble free 'low tech" field upgrades. Also included is 4k EEPROM for non-volatile memory for storage of calibration constants and data logging.
