HELIUSTM Series HVT High Power RF GENERATORS20,000 watt power system 1500 watt power system
Series Helius HVT RF Products The Helius HVT RF amplifier components & complete RF generators are designed for use in high power - high VSWR applications. Their hybrid design includes a solid state driver and a vacuum tube final amplifier. This topology provides robust and reliable power driving dynamic loads. Typical applications include driving CO2 laser cutting and welding systems as well as very high power plasma processes such as sputtering and etching. General Specifications The Model HVT is built around the Helius microprocessor controlled RF exciter module. This multi featured controller enables both front panel and remote control via analog or serial ports.
A free standing electronics rack enclosure is used to enclose the system. All HVT models are built to order and can be configured to a customer's individual specifications.
These fixed frequency RF generators can be ordered with a center frequency ranging between 5Mhz to 500Mhz. All units are C.W. and pulse capable. Click here for specific Helius HVT 1.5K Data HVT1.5K models are constructed in a tabletop enclosure measuring 19.25" wide X 24" deep X 22" tall. The enclosure includes filtered forced air cooling and all user controls accessible via the front panel. Each unit includes a 6 foot long rubber covered AC mains cord. The customer is responsible for furnishing the connection on the supply side of this cord. Click here for specific Helius HVT 20K Data Models rated at 20kW and higher are manufactured in a two piece set; a remote RF power head connected to the main enclosure by a cable set up to 70 feet long. This enables the exciter/control cabinet to be placed away from the active plasma system. Diagnostic information is available on the Helius controller display panel.
Helius HVT RF Component General Specifications The Helius RF power amplifier is also available as a stand alone component set including the rack mount RF head and control / DC power supply module. The user can then drive this amplifier module with an existing low power oscillator/amplifier. Up to 50 watts of drive power is typically required. Series HVT 1.5kW power system components
