SERIES MW MICROWAVE GENERATORS

The Series MW microwave power systems are specifically designed for continuous operation in industrial plasma process and heating applications. The standard microwave power system is available in 6,000 watts @ 2.45 GHz.

These systems provide precise process control — even in the varying environment of plasma processes. Rugged microwave power components are used to ensure reliability during 100% duty-cycle operation. A high current three-phase DC power module provides all necessary support power. The DC section is housed in a self-contained, compact enclosure. The magnetron head is mounted remotely near the applicator and connected via a protected cable set. Continuous monitoring of critical operating parameters enables the system to protect itself in the event of load mismatch and process arc downs. The system’s control circuitry offers fine control resolution of +/- 1% around the set point. External user interface connections enable the MW6 to be controlled via the user’s PLC or host computer. Local operation is available through the use of an optional control panel.
